EDN Members Host Press Conference Protesting the Eviction of Tanya Vera + Family by St Anton Capital

Members of the EDN, ACCE Sacramento, the Sacramento Tenants Union, Sunrise Movement – Sacramento joined forces with tenant Tanya Vera to

hold a press conference at the corporate office of St Anton Capital, the owner of Bidwell Pointe apartments in Folsom where Ms. Vera has been living with her two daughters. As technicality about Ms. Vera’s income verification paperwork resulted in Bidwell Pointe issuing her an eviction notice and winning against Tanya in court. Bidwell Pointe has refused mediation and ignored the offers Tanya has put forward to find a solution to allow her to remain housed.
